Boxycharm 07.15

So even though we're in August, I wanted to share my thoughts on what I received in my Boxycharm subscription last month. My box arrived around the 20th of July, so I've been able to try a few of the products out and have some well-formulated opinions.

Let's get into it, shall we?

So the them of this box was Summertime Radness (Get it? "Got my summertime, summertime RADness..." A little Lana reference for ya). I had and still have mixed feelings about this box. I'll break it down in the product description. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take many photos of the products this time around. Hope no one minds too much.

MDMflow Greater Than Mascara ($35)- This mascara has some really great claims, that I certainly hope match up to the price tag. This is apparently a UK brand, and it was being introduced to the US through Boxycharm. I have yet to give mine a go because I already have a couple mascaras open at the moment. I do love the gold packaging.

Vasanti Professional Blush Brush ($29)- This brush is made of really nice synthetic bristles. I have really enjoyed using it to soften my bronzer and contour. I'm not sure that it's totally worth the price, as the Morphe blush brush I use is equally soft and nice, and was only $15-17. However, I am glad it was part of the box.

yourMinerals Transparent Veil Setting Powder ($26)- I really like this setting powder. It's very lightweight and smooth on the skin. It really lives up to that transparent title as well, you cannot see it on the skin whatsoever. It's been great so far, and I'm glad that we received it in our box.

gorge I'll Make You Look Amazing Daily Spray ($29.95)- This is a leave in conditioning spray. I've been using it on my damp hair after washing it and towel drying, and I must say that it really does leave my hair feeling nice and soft, but not greasy or weighed down with product. Which is a big deal for me, because my hair is thin and fine, most conditioning products tend to leave it looking dirty. So I'm really pleased with this spray. I can't say that I would necessarily repurchase it when I've used it up, but I am enjoying it thus far.

OFRA Cosmetics Lip Liner in Plum ($13)- I really dislike this lip liner. It is very waxy feeling, dry, and poorly-pigmented. I've tried using it a few times and it just does not work well for me. I would rather buy a $5 NYX lip liner, they are much creamier and far more pigmented than this OFRA liner is.

Cargo Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Provence- This was a replacement for the eyeshadow that broke in my last Boxycharm box. It was really nice of them to send a replacement. I really like the formula of the eyeshadow.

So those are my thoughts and feelings on the products from this month's Boxycharm. Even though I didn't love every product this month, I definitely feel that my money was well spent. I still highly recommend checking out Boxycharm if you're thinking of signing up for a monthly subscription box. Thank you so much for reading this post, I hope it was helpful in some way.

Till next time!
Love, Little Mouse
